1. About masterclass

masterclass is a registered e-learning platform in Bangladesh that provides paid and free live and recorded educational courses. The platform supports preparation for Bangladesh Bank recruitment examinations, government bank and private bank recruitment tests, other government job examinations, and selected university admission tests including IBA, Dhaka University, and selected private universities. masterclass provides educational services only and does not guarantee employment, examination success, ranking, or admission.

2. Eligibility and User Registration

Users must be at least 13 years of age to register on the masterclass platform. Users under the age of 13 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian. All users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. Account sharing, transfer, or unauthorised access is strictly prohibited.

3. Course Access and Usage

Access to live or recorded courses is granted based on the specific course or subscription purchased. Course validity periods, features, and access duration may vary. All course materials are provided for personal, non-commercial use only. Any unauthorised copying, recording, distribution, resale, or public sharing of content is prohibited.

4. Fees, Payments, and Refund Policy

All course fees are displayed clearly prior to purchase and are payable through supported payment gateways. Fees are charged in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) unless stated otherwise. Payments are generally non-refundable except where required under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009, or where a specific refund policy is explicitly stated for a course. masterclass reserves the right to revise pricing, discounts, or offers at any time.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content available on the platform, including but not limited to videos, recorded lectures, notes, quizzes, graphics, logos, trademarks, and application design, is the intellectual property of masterclass or its authorised instructors. Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, or exploit any content without prior written permission. Violations may result in account termination and legal action under applicable Bangladeshi laws.

6. User Conduct

Users agree not to misuse the platform. Prohibited actions include sharing paid content, uploading false or offensive material, engaging in harassment, attempting to hack or disrupt platform services, or violating any applicable laws. masterclass reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts found in violation of these rules without refund.

7. Live Classes and Technical Limitations

Live classes depend on internet connectivity, device compatibility, and third-party services. masterclass is not responsible for disruptions caused by internet failure, power outages, device limitations, or force majeure events. Recorded versions may be provided where feasible but are not guaranteed.

8. Disclaimer and No Guarantee

masterclass provides educational guidance only. Examination results, job recruitment outcomes, and admission success depend on individual effort and external factors beyond the platform’s control. No guarantee of success, placement, or admission is provided.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, masterclass shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Any liability, if established, shall not exceed the total amount paid by the user for the relevant course or service.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

User data is collected, processed, and stored in accordance with applicable laws of Bangladesh, including the Digital Security Act, 2018, and ICT Act, 2006. Personal information is used solely for service delivery, communication, compliance, and platform improvement. masterclass does not sell personal data to third parties.

11. Suspension and Termination

masterclass reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account for violations of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or unlawful activity. Access may be restricted without prior notice where necessary to protect platform integrity or legal compliance.

12. Amendments to Terms

masterclass may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on the platform and will become effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
